How Much Does a Personal Branding Agency Cost in India?

Why nobody publishes their pricing

Search "personal branding agency cost in India" and you will land on a dozen websites with a "Get in touch for a quote" button and nothing else. That is not an accident. Most agencies price deal by deal, based on how much they think you will pay, not on what the work actually costs to produce.

We think that is a bad way to buy a service you do not fully understand yet, so here is the real breakdown: what drives the price, what the market actually looks like, and exactly what we charge.

What you are actually paying for

"Personal branding" gets used as a catch-all, but the cost depends entirely on which of these you are buying:

Strategy. Figuring out what you should be saying, to whom, and on what schedule. This is thinking work, and it is the part most agencies skip or fake with a template.

Production. The actual shoot day. A camera, a crew, a shot list, direction. This is priced per day or per project because the cost is mostly time and equipment, not ongoing effort.

Post-production. Turning raw footage into finished, captioned, publish-ready videos. This scales with volume: how many pieces of content you need per month.

Management. Posting on schedule, tracking what worked, adjusting the plan. Often bundled quietly into "full service" packages without being priced separately.

Most of the pricing confusion comes from agencies bundling some subset of these four and calling it a package, without telling you which parts you are actually paying for.

What the market roughly looks like

At the low end, freelance editors and small studios charge per video, often somewhere between a few hundred and a couple of thousand rupees per edited piece, with no strategy or shoot included. You are buying labour, not a system.

In the middle, boutique agencies charge monthly retainers, typically landing somewhere in the tens of thousands of rupees a month, for a defined volume of content plus some strategy input.

At the top end, agencies working with larger founders, VCs, or established creators charge well into six figures a month, usually because they are running a full team: strategist, shooter, editor, and a dedicated account manager, often for high shoot frequency.

None of this is published anywhere because the range is wide enough that publishing it invites negotiation, and most agencies would rather quote you individually once they know your budget.

What we charge

We would rather you know the numbers before you get on a call.

Post-Production, ₹30,000 a month. You already shoot, or already have footage. We turn it into 15 edited reels a month, colour, sound, pacing, and captions included. That works out to roughly ₹2,000 per edited reel.

End-to-End, ₹55,000 a month. Strategy, scripts, the shoot, the edit, and the posting schedule. This is the package most founders on a monthly retainer choose, because it removes the work from your plate entirely.

Production, scoped per project. A shoot day, on location or in studio, for founders who already have an editor. Priced per project because shoot scope varies too much for a flat number to mean anything.

How to decide which one you need

If you already have footage sitting on a hard drive, start with Post-Production. If you have never shot anything and do not want to think about strategy, End-to-End is the only package that removes that decision from you. If you have an editor you already trust and just need someone behind the camera, Production is the one-off fix.

The honest answer to "how much does this cost" is: it depends on how much of the work you want off your plate. The price should follow from that, not the other way around.

If you want the full breakdown with what is included in each tier, we have it laid out here.
